Artist statement

My photography journeys through and reflects my inner world of moods and thoughts. Helping me to catch moments of these fleeting experiences, is what makes photography interesting to me.

My photos present sometimes as disturbing artworks. Other times, they express through more fashion, sensual or erotic related imagery. Often, the model expresses darker emotions. By no means these are solely portraits: the power and expression of the image as a whole lay bare the complete story.

My images are often intuitive, poetic, graphic and aesthetic with strong contrasts. I love black and white because it focuses on the emotion and form, without the distractions of color and vibrancy. When people see my work I’d like them to feel the emotion.
